Oil higher in Asian trade
Oil prices rebounded in Asian trade Thursday from overnight falls following a bigger-than-expected increase in US energy stocks, dealers said.
New York's main contract, light sweet crude for April delivery rose 65 cents to 48.79 dollars in the afternoon.
Brent North Sea crude for April gained 72 cents to 48.38 dollars.
