The namaz-e-janaza of seven BDR officers killed during the Wednesday's BDR mutiny was held at the Army Central Mosque in the Dhaka Cantonment yesterday.
The deceased officers were Brig Gen M A Bari, Col Mujibul Haque, Col Anisuzzaman, Col Zahid, Lt Col Abu Musa Mohammad Kaiser, Lt Col Enayet and Maj Mizan.
They will be laid to rest today at the Banani Military Graveyard after janaza, sources said.
With the relatives of the slain officers, council of ministers, chiefs of three services, a number of political leaders, a large number of military officials and civilians attended the janaza, says a press release of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Members of the bereaved families demanded fair trial of the brutal killing.
