Big win for Eskaton
Eskaton wiped out Badda by a massive 130 runs, to lead the point's table in the Dhaka First Division Cricket League, at the Dhaka University Ground yesterday.
With three wins from three games under their belt, a confident Eskaton outfit chose to bat first and posted 264-9 in 50 overs. Ahsanul Haq hammered a quickfire 96 from 90 deliveries and had able support from Rezaul who scored 51. Badda, were then bowled out in the 42nd over for 134, where Eskaton's Mustakim notched up 3 wickets for eight runs.
At the City Club Ground, Motijheel notched up their second win in four games when they beat Shadharon Bima by three wickets. The winners successfully chased their winning target of 195 runs in the 47th over, with Kuntal scoring an unbeaten 47.
In other matches, Jatrabari also picked up their second win at the Dhaka University Ground, beating Azad by 13 runs while Indira Road defeated Dhanmondi Club by 80 runs at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium.
