Body of shallow machine operator recovered

Police recovered the body of a shallow machine operator from Madaripur Sadar upazila yesterday.
He was identified as Abdul Razzak Fakir, age 40, of Purba Ghatak Char village.
Officer-in-Charge of Madaripur Police Station Nasim Khan told The Daily Star that they recovered the body from a paddy field in the morning.
Marks of stab injuries were found in the victim's body, he added.
Family members said Razzak was on duty on that night, adding that he might be killed as a sequel to the previous rivalry over a land dispute with his neighbours.
