Mayoral confce in Switzerland February 4

Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Alhaj ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury will leave Dhaka for Switzerland today to attend a three-day mayoral international conference.
The conference on "Carbon finance capacity building in emerging mega cities of the south" will begin on February 4 in Switzerland.
Mayors of major metropolis of South Asian countries and high officials are expected to join the conference.
Two other members of the three-member delegation are acting chief executive officer of the CCC Mohammad Shamsuddoha and superintendent engineer Emdadul Haq.
According to a CCC press release, member of the CCC mayor panel and councilor of West Sholashahar ward SM Iqbal Hossain will discharge duties as the acting mayor till return of the mayor.
