Bogra Police yesterday arrested three snatchers from Panchpukuria area under Shahjahanpur upazila while they were fleeing the scene after snatching a rented microbus.
The arrestees were identified as Yanur Hossain, 27, son of Ismail Hossain, of Kashimala village under Kahalu upazila, his younger brother Shahjahan Ali, 25, and Sujan, 22, of Mohonpur under Ullapara in Sirajganj.
The snatchers rented the vehicle from a rent-a-car firm at Banani for taking it to Dhaka. They captured the driver, tied his hands and legs and tried to flee with the microbus.
