Shykh Seraj (R) hosts the show Krishoker Eid Anondo

As part of the Eid specials, Channel-i will air a unique game show titled Krishoker Eid Anondo. The programme will be aired at 9:30 pm on October 11.
The programme has been arranged by the popular agriculture-based documentary programme Hridoy-e Mati O Manush (aired on Channel-i). Director of Channel-i and noted media personality Shykh Seraj has directed, planned and hosted the game show.
Popular rural sports like Ha-du-du, Dariyabandha and many more will be featured at the game show. Apart from these, several contests, based on day-to-day lives of the farmers -- such as fishing and sowing -- are also included in the programme. The participants are farmers, fishermen and rural folks in general.
Previously, the show Mati O Manush featured farmers' world cup and the rural celebration of Bengali New Year, which drew a wide audience response.
This year the farmers were distressed by two consecutive floods, specifically in the northern districts. To help them recover, Hridoy-e Mati O Manush lent a hand to the farmers with relief and urged all to give zakat to the needy. Krishoker Eid Anondo is an endeavour to encourage farmers to retain their spirit while struggling with the onslaught of flood.
The programme will re-run at 6:00 pm on the fifth day of Eid.
