Tk 29 lakh foreign currencies recovered

A team of the crime prevention company (CPC) of Rab-10 yesterday recovered foreign currencies left out in a bag at Dhanmondi in the city.
The recovered currencies worth about Tk 29 lakh include Singapore, Hong Kong and American dollars and British pound.
Acting on a tip-off, the CPC team took position in front of house no 770 at Satmasjid Road in the area.
Sensing the presence of law enforcement agency personnel, a man left the bag and managed to flee the scene, Rab sources said.
