30 shops gutted in Gopalganj

At least 30 shops were gutted and 10 people injured in aq devastating fire at Ghagarbazar in Kotalipara upazila yesterday.
Witnesses said the fire originated at about 11:45am from a stove in a shop and soon engulfed the adjoining shops.
On information, fire fighters rushed in and doused the flame after one and a half hour hectic efforts with the help of local people.
Ten people injured while extinguishing the fire were rushed to Kotalipara Upazila Health Complex.
Of the gutted shops, there were stationary shops, cosmetics shops, cloths shops and mobile phone shops.
