United Airways (Bangladesh) Ltd, a private sector airliner founded by non-resident Bangladeshis, Wednesday spread its wings with introducing flights on Dhaka-Sayedpur domestic route.
The private airliner will initially operate flights on the newly inaugurated Dhaka-Sayedpur route on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays.
The fare for a one-way journey is Tk 3,000, while it is for two-way Tk 6,000, the airline officials said.

The airliner has only one international flight on Dhaka-Kolkata everyday.
Speaking at the flight launching programme, Tasbirul Ahmed Choudhury, chairman and managing director of the airlines, said, “With the launching of the new flight on the route, the northerners will now have easier and comfortable journeys.”
He said Rajshahi would be the new destination of the airline soon.
