Muktijoddha Museum Trustee Board thanks CA
A delegation of the Muktijoddha Museum Trustee Board called on Chief Adviser Fakhruddin Ahmed yesterday to thank him for allotting a piece of land by the government for constructing a new building of the Liberation War Museum in the city.
The five-member delegation led by Mofidul Haque apprised the chief adviser of their plan and design for constructing the new Bhaban at Agargaon in the city at their own cost.
They said they want to construct the new Bhaban with a design in light of the sprit of Liberation War. Memories of the War of Liberation will be preserved in the museum.
The delegation also apprised him of the activities of the Liberation War Museum authorities, including its mobile museum and students' visit programme.
The chief adviser thanked them for the noble job and initiative.
He assured “all necessary cooperation” from government side and emphasised “government-private partnership”.
CA's Press Secretary Syed Fahim Munaim was present at the meeting and briefed newsmen.
