Deposition in graft case against Ctg mayor begins

Deposition of a corruption case against Chittagong City Corporation Mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury began at Divisional Special Judge's court yesterday.
The plaintiff of the case and also deputy director of Anti-Corruption Commission AKM Amirul Islam gave his statement before the court.
The now-defunct Anti Corruption Bureau had filed the case against three people including Mayor Mohiuddin in 2002 for embezzling Tk 11.25 lakh in hiring garbage-carrying truck.
Judge of the court SM Sulaiman framed charge against them on October 23.
