BSF returns cattle trader's body
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) yesterday returned the body of a Bangladeshi cattle trader, gunned down by BSF on October 23 at Jajlalpur, a bordering village in Basirhat thana under 24 Parganas district of West Bengal opposite to Bhatshala village in Debhata upazila.
After the cattle trader, Zakir Hossain, 30, son of Jonab Ali village Sekendra in Debhata upazila, was killed by BSF, BDR sent a protest letter and asked the BSF authorities to return the body.
Receiving the body from BSF in the evening, BDR of Bhatshala camp handed it to the victim's relatives, BDR said.
