Outlaws shoot trader dead in Sirajganj
Members of outlawed Purbo Banglar Communist Party (PBCP) shot dead a trader at a market in Tarash, Sirajganj, last night.
The victim was identified as Abul Kalam Azad, 25, son of Rustam Ali of Paikora village.
Police and local people said a gang of 20 or 25 outlaws equipped with firearms entered the shop of Azad at Katagari Bazar around 8:00pm and shot him after pushing a pistol into his mouth.
The gang left the scene chanting slogans of PBCP.
On receiving information, Tarash police rushed to the spot and sent the body to Sadar Hospital morgue. A case was lodged in the connection.
