Man gets death for killing neighbour

A Barisal court yesterday sentenced a man to death for killing his neighbour at Barajalia village in Hizla upazila one year ago.
District and Sessions Judge M Shahidullah handed down the verdict to Abdur Razzak Matobbar, 40.
The court also fined the convict Tk 20,000.According to the prosecution, Razak stabbed Monwara Begum to death over a land dispute on July 7, 2007.
The victim's son Habibullah Talukdar filed a murder case against Razzak on the same day.
