Musharraf eyeing a political career

Former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf is planning a full time career in politics.
Sources who met him recently said Musharraf hoped to make an announcement after moving to his farmhouse at Chak Shahzad outside Islamabad soon.
Musharraf is presently residing in Army House and does not want to make any political announcements from there.
The sources said he planned to use the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) as his platform although his relations with the party chief Chaudhary Shujaat are reportedly strained.
After he stepped down as the president of Pakistan in August to avoid impeachment by Pakistan's ruling coalition, the former Army General has been keeping a low profile.
Earlier, former Pakistan premier Nawaz Sharif on October 12 renewed his demand for bringing Musharraf to trial for his actions during his nine-year rule and said the former ruler should be summoned to Parliament to reveal agreements forged with the US in the war on terror.
Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party was part of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP)-led ruling coalition till August.
