Plot on to erase spirit of 1/11 changeover
Bangladesh Kalyan Party (BKP) Chairman Maj Gen (retd) Syed Muhammad Ibrahim Bir Pratik said an identified vicious circle is conspiring in the country to create anarchy and ill politics erasing the spirit of 1/11.
The nation does not want to go back to the situation before the 1/11 changeover, he added.
The BKP chairman said this at a view exchange meeting with the leaders and activists at the party office at Mohakhali New DOHS in the city yesterday.
Syed Ibrahim said the country was a safe haven of corrupts and criminals before the changeover and the nation was hopeful that the country would be freed from the grip of them when the caretaker government assumed power.
But it is a matter of regret that the identified corrupts are escaping from the loopholes of law and, on the other hand, the administration is failing to arrest listed criminals, he regretted.
Ibrahim said questions have been raised on a negotiation between an adviser of the government and a top leader who was recently freed from detention.
The BKP chairman urged the government to start rationing system in order to combat the price hike of essentials.
He also urged his party men to be prepared for tackling any conspiracy to foil the election slated for December 18.
