Citi attracts warm response to awards

The Citi Microentrepr-eneurship Awards 2008 programme attracted huge response and a large number of applications were received from all over Bangladesh, according to a press statement released yesterday.
The programme was launched by Citi Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Citigroup Inc and managed by Shakti Foundation for Disadvantaged Women and Citibank, NA Bangladesh.
A special committee formed for the award programme has started screening the applications.
