FIDE Master Minhazuddin Ahmed Sagar took solo lead in the Destiny 2000 3rd Open FIDE Rating chess tournament after the sixth round yesterday.
Sagar defeated Debaraj Chatterjee at the Chess Federation hall-room to take his collection to 5.5 points. The leader was closely followed by nine players -- level on five points -- including GM Reefat Bin Sattar and FM Sheikh Nasir Ahmed, who shared points in the sixth round to give up the top slot.
