Blues demolish Bordeaux

Luiz Felipe Scolari has warned his Chelsea stars not to get carried away after their Champions League demolition of Bordeaux.
Scolari's side started their bid to avenge last season's Champions League final defeat against Manchester United in emphatic style at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
Goals from Frank Lampard, Joe Cole, Florent Malouda and Nicolas Anelka sealed a 4-0 victory that sent out a statement of intent to the rest of Europe.
But Bordeaux were obliging opponents and Scolari knows Chelsea will have to overcome far sterner tests to reach May's final in Rome.
The Chelsea manager is determined to keep his players' feet on the ground and made a point of highlighting the flaws in their victory over Laurent Blanc's team.
"We made many mistakes when we had the ball," Scolari said. "When you play in the Champions League and are winning 2-0 at half-time you need to work the ball and control the game. You don't need to win 5-0, it is still the same three points.
"We wanted to make more goals but gave chances to the other team. They only had one or two chances but they had more of the ball. We need more. We have the experience to know this.
"Maybe against another team we would have received more punishment because we lost many balls in the middle. It is dangerous for us.
"But it is important to start with a win because in this competition you never know what will happen.
"You can see that when Cluj beat Roma. That is a warning for us for the next game."
Chelsea made the breakthrough in the 14th minute with their first incisive attack.
Jose Bosingwa surged down the right in typically dynamic fashion and whipped in a precise cross towards Lampard, who timed his run perfectly to plant a header past Ulrich Rame.
A second goal looked inevitable and it duly arrived in the 30th minute.
Lampard turned provider this time as the diminutive Cole somehow out-jumped Bordeaux's two centre-backs to glance his teammate's corner in at the near-post.
Malouda capped the move of the match in the 82nd minute. Lampard's back-heel reached John Obi Mikel and his pass gave Malouda the chance to a drive a low shot into the far corner of Rame's goal.
There was still time for Anelka to get on the scoresheet with a stoppage time tap-in after Juliano Belletti's shot had cannoned off the crossbar.
The only player Scolari was willing to single out for praise was Lampard, who gave a midfield masterclass to underline why the Brazilian was so keen to persuade him to sign a new contract.
"Lampard is fantastic. In the last three or four years he is the top scorer in Chelsea and sometimes in the Premier League," Scolari said.
"He is a midfielder and he arrives many times in front of goal and makes goals. He loves football. He is training hard every day. When you do this I think God helps you."
Bordeaux were runners-up in the French league last season but they were completely out of their depth in the rarefied atmosphere of the Champions League.
Blanc, the former France and Manchester United defender, admitted Bordeaux will struggle to qualify unless they rediscover the fighting spirit that got them to this stage.
"Chelsea have demonstrated there is a lot of work for us to do," Blanc said. "Maybe we are too fragile. It is up to us to go back to the league and work to get back the aggressive nature that served us well last season.
"When any team loses 4-0 you have obviously learned something. The ease that Chelsea cut through us for the third goal summed it up.
"If we play like we did here we won't get enough points to qualify."
