After the rigours of Ramadan, the joyous festivities of Eid-ul-Fitr will approach us soon. Eid is a time for all to take a break from the hectic schedules and just chill with family and friends.
Celebrities are no exception. Here's what three of them shared:
Aupi Karim: "I am waiting for my elder sister to arrive from Egypt soon. For us, the festivities begin when she comes home. My sister bosses around when it comes to shopping and I just follow her lead."
"My sister and I buy saris and dresses for our aunts, elder cousins and for the kids in the family. On Eid, all our cousins will get together and have fun at home."
Reminiscing old times, she says, "When we were young our parents taught us to recognise our limits but also live up to our potentials."
Ferdaus: Everyone is in a mood to shop and hang out with friends. Ferdaus is no exception. Going from boutique to boutique, his favourites are Banglar Mela, Rong and some select designers. On a different note, during the holidays along with his family, Ferdaus goes overseas.
Neerab: "Apparently I'm not free until the 18th/ 20th of this month," says the busy model-turned-actor. When it comes to shopping he tries a lot of varieties. Often it is a short punjabi or a kurta. Mostly he sticks to his family and hangs out with his friends. The best part of Eid is "chaand raat" (the eve of Eid). "It is a time when all of us friends get together and catch up."
