Detained BNP leader Manzurul Ahsan Munshi was shifted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) after suffering a mild stroke yesterday.
Munshi, a former BNP lawmaker from Dewidwar in Comilla, had been complaining of heart problem and fell seriously sick at Chittagong Central Jail at around 12:30pm.
After examining him the physician advised the jail authority to shift Munshi to hospital. Then he was rushed to CMCH.
