The national convention of Bangladesh Road Transport Owners-Workers Oikya Parishad, a platform of owners and workers of road transport sector, will be held on September 21.
The convention will be held at Diploma Engineers Institute of Bangladesh auditorium in the city with the demands of withdrawal of restriction on trade unionism, amendment to the Labour Law 2008 and Motor Vehicle Ordinance 1983.
The Oikya Parishad leaders held meetings across the country to make the convention a success.
