“Aamar Achhey Jol” to be released in Eid
Litterateur-filmmaker Humayun Ahmed's new film Aamar Achhey Jol is set to be released on Eid-ul-Fitr. The film will be released simultaneously in several theatres in Dhaka. However, the premiere show of the film will be aired on Channel i at 2:35 pm on Eid day. Apart from direction, Humayun Ahmed has written the story and songs and developed the screenplay of the film. Impress Telefilm Ltd. is the producer of the film.
Lux-Channel i superstar '08 Bidya Sinha Saha Mim is set to make her debut through this film. Pijush Bandyopadhyay, Saleh Ahmed, Zahid Hasan, Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Meher Afroz Shaon, Ferdaus and Munmun Ahmed are the other central characters of the film.
Aamar Achhey Jol is an adaptation of Humayun Ahmed's novel of the same title. The story line of the film depicts the incidents happening in a police officer's family. Retired police officer Osman arranges a family tour, where his wife, two daughters Nishat and Dilshad and family friends Jamil and Sabbir join him. Jamil has been part of the family for long. On the other hand, Sabbir, who is an amateur photographer, has bit of anonymity. During the trip, Osman reveals that his younger daughter Dilshad has fallen in love with Jamil. Once, elder daughter Nishat had similar feelings for Jamil. The story turns into another direction, when one day Dilshad asks Sabbir to take a snap of her.
Mahfuzur Rahman Khan is the cinematographer and Zoglul Alam is the music director, while S. I. Tutul and Habib Wahid has done the composition of the soundtracks of the film.
The shooting of the film was done at several locations of Sylhet division, including Srimangal, Lauachhara rain forest, Shamshernagar, Kulaura and Moulavibazar.
