Two persons were arrested from Jhenidah town yesterday evening along with a huge quantity of bomb making materials.
The two are Plabon alias Pila and Parash. They were used by criminals and political parties for making and throwing bombs, police said. They were arrested in a raid in Chanda cinema hall in the town.
When contacted, Jhenidah Police Superintendent Jahangir Hossain Matabbar said, the bombs used in the recent clash between Chhatra Dal and Chhatra League in Jhenidah KC Collage were by the two persons.
They are from Baparipara area in the the town.
