US diplomat talks with Mojahid

Jon Danilowicz, political and economic affairs counsellor of the US embassy in Dhaka, met Jamaat Secretary General Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojahid at the party headquarters here yesterday.
In a press statement signed by Jamaat Publicity Secretary Mohammad Tasnim Alam said Danilowicz discussed “various issues”.
The statement did not provide any further details about the issues came up in the meeting with the leader of Jamaat, which recently boycotted a scheduled dialogue on election issues with the Election Commission.
Kathryn W Bonday, an official in the political and economic section of the US embassy, was also present.
