Youth found dead at Pallabi

A youth was found dead in a house Pallabi in the city yesterday.
Identified as Ilias Akon, 25, son of Abul Kalam Azad of Shariatpur district, the youth was found tied with napkins. Police arrested two persons -- Anwar Hossain and Abdul Latif -- in this connection.
Sayedul Arefin, landlord of the building, said Ilias was staying for the last 15 days in a flat on the second floor rented by one Abdus Salam from where his body was recovered at about 22:30pm.
Pallabi police said Ilias came to the house to get back his money which he gave to Salam as loan. Salam is absconding after the murder.
Police said they were looking for Salam and interrogating Anwar and Latif.
Police arrested them when they came to visit the house yesterday.
