Metallica's forthcoming album has been leaked online, NME.com reported. The leak happened after the album, Death Magnetic, scheduled to be released on September 12, was said to have been sold at a record store in France.
Lars Ulrich, the band's drummer, told the San Francisco radio station Live 105 that he was not upset about the leak. “Listen, we're 10 days from release,” he said. “Ten days out, and it hasn't quote-unquote fallen off the truck yet? Everybody's happy.” The leak follows the arrest of Kevin Cogill for leaking nine unreleased Guns N' Roses songs last week.
