Myanmar is making arrangement to introduce contract farming project in Yangon division, aimed at development of agriculture, the local Biweekly Eleven news journal reported yesterday.
So far, 10 private entrepreneurs have taken part in the project, the Rice Producers Association was quoted as saying.
If successful, the system will be applied in other states and divisions. Foreign technical know how relating agricultural production will be obtained through the farming system, the sources said.
