DAM to open rehabilitation centre today

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is going to inaugurate its 3rd 40-bed Free Drug Addiction Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre at 32-34, Johnson Road of old Dhaka today with the financial and technical support of Family Health International, says a press release.
Additional Secretary of Home Ministry Dr Sheikh Abdur Rashid will inaugurate the centre at a ceremony presided over by DAM Programme Director Shafiqul Islam.
Family Health International Country Director Misti McDowell will be present as special guest on the occasion while DAM Project Manager Iqbal Masud and Family Health International Programme Officer Sheikh Jahangir Hossain will speak on the occasion.
With the financial and technical support of Family Health International, DAM has been offering free drug addiction treatment and rehabilitation to poor patients in Dhaka and Mymensingh since 2005.
