Leaders of the National Front of Teachers and Employees (NFTE) urged the government to reduce the stipulated time for submission of report of the newly formed pay commission as the present government will have no chance to implement it after December.
They made the demand issuing a press release yesterday.
NFTE would submit a written statement to the pay commission to remove all discrepancies in pay structure, the press release added.
It also demanded a permanent pay commission.
NFTE Coordinator Principal Kazi Faruq Ahmed, Convener Mohammad Azizul Islam, Principal Asadul Huq, Principal Abdur Rashed and Principal MA Sattar issued the statement.
