Tigers' 2nd ODI against Aussies today
Bangladesh cricket team will try to reduce the gulf of class between them and world champions Australia when the two sides play the second one-day international at the TOI Stadium in Darwin today.
The Tigers were bowled out for only 74 runs, their lowest in one-day cricket, in the first game of the three-match series and duly lost by 180 runs.
And that was not the end of their troubles. In form batsman Rokibul Hasan has been ruled out of the series with a finger injury he suffered while batting in the first one-dayer.
Lanky Zunaed Siddiqui, an opener, will take his place and it is expected that Mehrab Hossain will bat in the middle-order.
The hosts' 180-run win was overshadowed by the suspension of superstar Andrew Symonds but another allrounder, Shane Watson, will boost their top-order with his big-hitting.
The match, to be telecast live on STAR Cricket and Super Sport, will begin at 6:00am.
