Zaragoza offloads 3 players
Spanish side Zaragoza, which was relegated to the second division, agreed to sell three players on Monday, the last day of the football transfer period, the club said on its web site.
The club sold Argentine striker Diego Milito, 28, to Italian side Genoa, Spanish international striker Sergio Garcia, 25, to Betis Seville and international French midfielder Peter Lucien, 29, to Racing Santander.
The club gave no financial details but Spanish media said Milito was sold to Genoa for 8.0 million euros (11.7 million dollars) while Garcia, 25, who helped lead Spain to victory in Euro 2008, went to Betis for 10 million euros.
