Children cultural show 'Amra Sobai Raja' held in Tangail

A beautiful cultural show 'Amra Sobai Raja' performed by schoolchildren was held here on Saturday evening.
Sonar Tory Cultural School and Anandapathh Shishu Bikash Bidyaloy, Tangail jointly organised the function at Bhasani Hall in the town.
In the first session, a discussion meeting on 'Education and Culture' was held at the same venue. Former principal Sekandar Hayat Khan presided over the discussion while Tangail Superintendent of Police Abdul Mannan attended as chief guest.
Among others, Principal Sheela Momen, prominent singer and also chief coordinator of education-culture activities Fulki; Mohammad Gias Uddin Manager, Prime Bank,Tangail; Syed Aminul Haque Kaisar, director, Sonar Tori Cultural School and Anandapathh Shishu Bikash Bidyaloy; Sanjida Iasmin Moly, district coordinator of Fulki, Tangail and Bidyut Chandra Shaha programme officer spoke.
In the function, the Prime Bank Ltd gave books worth Tk 1 lakh among the students of 10 schools of Tangail region under the education-culture activities project of Fulki.
In the second session, the child artists of Sonar Tori Cultural School and Anandapathh Shishu Bikash Bidyaloy performed songs, dances, acting, poetry recital solo and chorus on the stage.
A multimedia projector was given to the youngsters in the function on behalf of the guardians of the Sonar Tory Cultural School and Anandapathh Shishu Bikash Bidyaloy jointly.
