Recently Japan Bangladesh Friendship Medical Services has launched the Tele-Video healthcare services for all, says a press release. The inaugural programme was held on August 28 in a hotel in the capital.
10600 and 10601 are the tele health hotlines open round the clock. Any caller from any corner of the country using any telephone operating system can reach the service just by dialing the numbers. The second number is dedicated to the farmers of the country.
JBFH are receiving calls from different people asking for treatment of their medical problems, advise on child's health etc.
Their journey started from the tele-video conference between Chandina to Dhaka from a health camp. Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital provided healthcare in different remote areas of the country by organising health camps prior to launch this service officially. Many people were treated there by the expert opinion over tele-video conference.
The hospital has signed MoU with all telephone operators including the mobile phone operators of the country.
Honorable Advisor for Agriculture and Water Resource Dr C S Karim was present as the chief guest in the inaugural programme.
