Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers' Association (BAFEDA) held its 15th annual general meeting (AGM) on Monday.
The association's chairman, Syed Abu Naser Bukhtear Ahmed, who is also managing director of state-owned Agrani Bank, chaired the meeting, held in Dhaka.
The meeting approved minutes of the last AGM (2007), audited balance sheet and income-expenditure statement for the year ended on December 2007, appointment of new auditor for 2008, and selection of members of the technical committee for the next term.
Sonali Bank Managing Director and Vice Chairman of BAFEDA SA Chowdhury also spoke.
Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Murshid Kuli Khan, the bank's Executive Director Yeasin Ali, managing directors of the member banks attended the meeting.
