The BNP-led four-party alliance United Kingdom unit will stage a demonstration in front of the Bangladesh High Commission in London on Thursday demanding the release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and her son Tarique Rahman, says a report of American News Agency (ANA) from London.
They had also submitted a memorandum to the UN Commission on Human Rights (UNCHR) and European Union to create pressure on the caretaker government for their release, lifting the state of emergency and declaring the election schedule, said BNP UK President Kamaruddin.
