Media Cup football

The first-ever Press Club A&J Media Cup Football begins tomorrow here at the MA Aziz Stadium.
A total of eight teams comprising of journalists of print and electronic media houses are taking part in the tournament, organised for the first time in the port city by the Chittagong Press Club.
Red, Green, White, Black, Yellow, Blue, Sky and Orange are the team names in the nine-a-side meet.
On the first day, Green team will take on Black.
The remaining matches will be held in the morning. The duration of the matches will be 50 minutes in total including a 10-minute break.
Badal Roy, former national footballer and vice-president of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), will be present as chief guest in the opening ceremony while Ekramul Karim Chowdhury, managing director of A&J Group and executive member of BFF, will inaugurate the tournament.
The final will be held on August 7.
