Anti-corruption campaign begins at RU today
A two-day anti-corruption campaign will begin on the Rajshahi University (RU) campus today.
On the occasion, an anti-corruption cartoon exhibition will be organised on the first day of the campaign on the RU central library premises.
Rajshahi city unit of Sachetan Nagorik Committee (Sanak) and Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) are jointly organising the campaign to create awareness among the students against corruption.
Former vice chancellor of RU Prof Saidur Rahman Khan will inaugurate the exhibition as the chief guest.
Sanak sources said an information booth of TIB will also be set up in front of the library to disseminate its activities among the students.
TIB Assistant Programme Officer Jesmin Aktar Panna told this correspondent that they are organising the campaign in order to build up a corruption-free generation.
The exhibition will remain open to visitors from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
