US team visits Benapole land port

A seven-member US official delegation visited Benapole land port yesterday to acquaint with the system of customs and immigration at the check-posts.
The delegation included US homeland security, customs and border protection and immigration officials. They discussed system at the check-post and immigration. Cross border travel of Bangladesh and Indian nationals through the Benapole port also came under discussion.
The delegation will also visit different frontier areas today.
