BDR rescues two boys at Benapole
Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) personnel rescued two children while being trafficked to India from bordering Amrakhali village in Benapole yesterday.
The rescued children are identified as Ibrahim, 8, and Julhash, 7. They hailed from Sharankhola upazila in Bagherhat.
BDR officials said an organised gang was trafficking the boys, but they managed to rescue the boys following secret information.
They were handed over to Benapole port police who later gave them to the custody of the district Mahila Ainjibi Samity.
