Housing fair in Ctg Wednesday

A four-day housing fair will start in Chittagong on Wednesday.
Bangladesh Housing Directory (BHD) is organising Chittagong Abashan Mela 2012 for the first time at the city's KS Square Convention Hall.
A total of 38 real estate and two construction materials manufacturing companies are participating in the fair.
The purpose of the fair is to promote real estate, Abu Naser Wazed, chief executive of BDH, said in a press briefing at Chittagong Press Club.
Organisers published the first BHD 2012, a directory providing information about real estate, on the eve of the fair.
M Monjur Alam, mayor of Chittagong City Corporation, is expected to inaugurate the fair on September 19, said Imam Hossain Nasim, chairman of BHD.
Visitors will be allowed free-entrance from 10:00am to 8:00pm, the organisers said, adding that the participating companies will offer discount prices to buyers.
