Officer in charge of Madhabpur police station Amulya Kumar Dhar, quoting the family members, said the boy was killed and later dumped on the rail track.
Informed by locals, General Railway Police (GRP) from Srimangal recovered the body at 12-30pm and sent it to the Habiganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
Father of the boy Selim Miah alleged that some rival villagers had killed his son before dumping the body on the rail tracks. The body was cut into several pieces as at least two trains ran over it after midnight.
