Online world
There has been a heated debate in numerous Internet forums and blogs on software giant Microsoft's recent attempt to buy Yahoo!. The news itself is extremely intriguing for the people concerned about Microsoft's all-out effort to dominate almost all spheres of the online world.
Google has already got a solid place in the world of Internet.
It's much ahead in the Internet war, particularly in searching share market. Interestingly, it has influenced the Internet community to such a great extent that Oxford dictionary has included the word 'google'.
Some people don't think Yahoo! would accept the proposal from Microsoft and they deem that the two companies' philosophies are too different to be a good merger.
Anyway, it would definitely be interesting to ponder over the new name after the merger of Microsoft and Yahoo! actually takes place. Would it be MicroHoo? Or YahooSoft?
If Microsoft's desperate attempt to regain its dominance by this merger succeeds, Google would surely get fierce impulse to become even stronger by merging itself with yet another giant Apple, leading to fiercer competition! However, it would, no doubt, leave the smaller companies with a market more difficult to survive.
