A housewife, who allegedly attempted to commit suicide earlier, succumbed to her injury at Jessore Medical College Hospital (JMCH) yesterday.
The deceased is Kajli Begum, 18, wife of Tariqul Islam of Phulbari village in the district's Jhikorgachha upazila.
Her neighbours said Kajli took poison following a family feud on the night of June 16.
Following the incident, family members admitted her to Jhikorgachha Upazila Health Complex and, later, shifted her to JMCH for better treatment.
