Bangladeshi driver dies in NY road crash
A Bangladeshi taxicab driver along with a passenger was killed when his cab was rammed by a truck in New York on Saturday.
Mohammad Hossain, 44, of Lauta village in Beanibazar upazila of Sylhet, left behind his widow and two children.
Family sources said while going to Manhattan from JFK airport, he lost control of the steering when a sports car tried to overtake him. He swerved off the lane and a garbage truck rammed the cab from behind.
Injured Hossain and the passenger were rushed to a hospital where doctors declared them dead.
