Missing minor girl found dead in Ctg

Police recovered the body of a three-year-old missing girl from Bagmoniram residential area in the port city yesterday.
The deceased Afrat Tasnin Ria, daughter of late Mafzal Hossain of Paltan Road in Bagmoniram area.
Police said they recovered Ria's body from a drain near their residence around 5:00am.
“Ria was strangled and her body was dumped in the drain,” said officer-in-charge (OC) of Kotwali Police Station Mohiuddin Selim.
The OC quoting the victim's family said Ria's uncle was involved in the killing as there was a conflict between two families.
Police detained Ria's uncle Shamsul Haq Badsha, 32, a CNG-run auto-rickshaw driver, based on the complaint of Ria's mother Rehana Akhter.
Ria went missing on Thursday noon and later a general dairy was lodged with Kotwali Police Station.
The body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Now a murder case was filed with Kotwali Police Station.
