Single episode TV play "Abar Joddha Hobo" will be aired on ATN Bangla at 11 pm on March 29. Noted actor and freedom fighter Sohel Rana who was the producer of the first Liberation War based film "Ora Egaro Jon" has donned the role of a freedom fighter in the play.
Based on a Liberation War story, "Abar Joddha Hobo" will showcase the state, society and above all the nation's adequate honour to freedom fighters and the ill gotten wealth and power of the razakars. The play also zooms on the concerted movement of the freedom fighters against the collaborators of the Pakistan army.
More than a hundred freedom fighters have acted in the play. Veteran actor Ahmed Sharif has enacted the role of a razakar. Mouli Azad, daughter of late Professor Dr. Humayun Azad of Dhaka University, has donned the role of a journalist. Advocate Khairul Islam, SM Mohsin, Faruk Ahmed, Ataur Rahman, Rimu and Farzana are the other cast members.
Shahidul Haque Khan has written and directed the play. Noted music director Alauddin Ali has composed and directed music for the title song of the play.
