AFC President's Cup
Group A matches of the AFC President's Cup will be held in Lahore from May 8 with Bangladesh League champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club facing Taiwan Power Company in one of the two opening day matches at Punjab Stadium.
Sheikh Jamal then face hosts KRL Football Club on May 10 and play their last group match against Erchim FC of Mongolia at the same venue.
Independence Cup Basketball
Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy moved into the final of the Citycell Independence Cup Basketball Tournament beating their respective rivals at the Dhanmondi Wooden Floor Gymnasium yesterday.
The final will take place today at the same venue.
Bangladesh Army thrashed Rangers 81-44 while Bangladesh Navy defeated Boarder Guard Bangladesh 76-56.
