Independence Fair in Ctg from Apr 5

Swadhinata Mela Parishad, Chittagong is going to organise Independence Fair on Outer Stadium premises in the port city on April 5.
The fair will continue till April 30. It will be inaugurated on March 27 at Muslim Institute Hall.
Awami League (AL) Presidium Member Akhtaruz Zaman Babu will attend the programme as chief guest with former mayor and the district AL president ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury in the chair.
Meanwhile, speakers at a press conference in the city yesterday said cultural programmes and commiseration meetings will be held everyday during the fair.
Advocate Sunil Sarker, vice president of the district AL, Kazi Enamul Haq Danu, chairman of the fair committee, Dr Mahfujur Rahman, general secretary, among others, present on the occasion.
